The app guides you through the entire process. It's also simple to use and set up. Another notable feature is the ability to return to the spot where it began in our tests. It did this for 77 minutes in one cleaning, before running out of battery.
Unlike some of the other robovacs we evaluated, the i3+ EVO has self-emptying bins that dump debris into an external dirt compartment on the base of its charging when it's full. The i3+ EVO can be prevented from overfilling with a self-emptying bin. However it still needs to be emptied manually at the end of each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO dustbin can hold 2.4L which is enough to last through four to five cleaning sessions.
Like the i7 uses state-ofthe-art floor-tracking sensors to create maps. It also lets you navigate through neat rows. However the i3+ EVO only stores one map, while the i7 can store multiple. The i7's map can be used to create virtual barriers and no-go zones but not for the i3+ EVO.
Although the i3+ EVO is superior at picking up dirt and debris from surfaces than the other robovacs we looked at but it's not the best in terms of cleaning edges and corners. It's also less gentle on furniture, despite being surprisingly quiet. It was quite rough on furniture, as it forced chairs away. It also made some collisions against the sides of the test bed.
2. Black & Decker Pro Q5
If you're looking to expand your robot vacuum collection or just beginning your journey using one, the Q5 Pro is a great choice. It offers an elegant design with powerful navigation and efficient automation at a low price.
